"Day of the Flower"

The beholder,
He who holds
Much influence.
Yet, has no power.
He sees the day
And watches the night.
But never the two, once.
Senseless is how he
Spends his time.
Accumulating much,
And yet having little.
High is where he sees.
Low is where he reigns.
He reads of the deep
Yet, speaks from the shallow.
Oh’ you little man.
Open your mouth.
And proclaim the day,
Day of the Flower.
